Keep Prospecting: all day, every day! - Keep what? I can see you scrunching up your nose and looking at me all confused. The process of prospecting is simple… all it means is keep looking for and contacting new clients.

You can do this by using your social media channels to advertise and launch your products and services, you can even send private messages to your community and those that follow you. Other ways you can keep prospecting are through Facebook and Google Ads, going to networking events and interacting with other business owners as well as contacting companies via cold calls. It is your job to keep looking for new business. Don’t wait on people to contact you, be proactive and go in search of the clients you want to work with. I highly recommend talking to at least five new customers every single day and that’s a small number to start with.

Growing your email list - Have you ever heard the terms “freebie” “lead magnet” or “opt-in” mentioned before? This is usually a valuable gift that you present to your customers/clients in exchange for their contact information.

Your lead magnet or opt-in can come in many different forms, the traditional and more overdone opt-in’s come in the form of discounts and free shipping. But, because you’re not like everyone else, your freebie can be presented as an audio file, a webinar, a downloadable pdf and even a video training series. Building your email list and sending frequent emails that educate and guide your clients to your products or services is one of the sure fire ways to create more financial abundance in your business.

Go LIVE - Videos, vlogs, lives, IG TV, IG stories,  Facebook Stories, Youtube Channels, Whatsapp stories…

Haven’t you figured it out yet? The biggest social media platforms of the century and quite frankly some of the most popular are all about live streaming and videography. So if you’re still wondering IF you should do an IG live or if you should create a YouTube channel, the answer is you should've started six months ago. Get to it!

Share your knowledge, teach them what you know - The fastest way to get your clients/customers to purchase from you is by sharing your knowledge and expertise in your industry. People buy from people they know, like and trust. What can you tell your customers and clients about your industry? What are the upcoming trends? What’s new in beauty? What’s happening in the tech world? What’s a good substitute for sugar? What makeup brands are good for people with sensitive skin? What are the benefits of using himalayan salt? What the hell is the keto diet? I mean there is so much you can share with your audience and you’re wasting time posting ten thousand pictures of your product. Your clients and customers want to hear from YOU! They want to be taught and led by your knowledge so stop withholding and give the people what they want.

Growing your network by actually networking - Okay, get up. I mean it, seriously get the hell up, step away from the computer, put down the phone, raise your head, get out the house and GO MEET SOME PEOPLE!

You’re business only grows as fast as your network, the more people you know, the more potential you have for acquiring business. When was the last time you went to an event where your ideal client was the main attendee? And if you did go, how many people did you connect with? You can’t sit in your storefront, behind the computer all day long and expect to get sales. You need to expand your circle. So join a members club, a mastermind, go to Starbucks for crying out loud. Let people see you and get to know you and you’ll see how fast your business grows.
